  1. The term zombie is used to describe a 
  2. corpse believed to be reanimated by a spirit
  3. and enslaved. The idea, widespread in Haiti,
  4. possibly arose from voodoo priests using the
  5. nerve poison tetrodotoxin which is found in 
  6. puffer fish to produce a semblance of death 
  7. from which the victim afterwards physically 
  8. recovers. Those eating incorrectly prepared
  9. puffer fish in Japan have been similarly 
  10. affected.
